The SoDakSACA Board of Directors
consists of 13 members: the President, Advisor,
four Vice-Presidents (Governance/Secretary,
Financial Management/Treasurer, Professional
Development, and Member Relations), four
Regional Representatives, one Early Childhood &
School-age Enrichment Liaison, one state Dept. of
Social Services Liaison, one state Dept. of
Education Liaison and one State Cooperative
Extension Liaison.
All board members, with the
exception of the four state & ECSE Liaisons (who
serve as resource members), and the Advisor (who
moves to that position automatically after serving
as president) are elected by the general membership
at the annual meeting held at the fall SoDakSACA
conference, with installation into office on January
1st. All elected board members serve in their
positions for a period of two years, as does the
Advisor.
