We are excited to announce the FREE virtual South Dakota Afterschool Conference, a partnership event between The South Dakota Afterschool Network (SDAN), the South Dakota School-Age Care Alliance (SoDakSACA) and the South Dakota Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Center Programs.

This three-day virtual event celebrates the legacy of 20 years of conference programming and is FREE to attend this year thanks to the generous support of our funders.

This year has brought crisis and uncertainty, but Afterschool programs stepped up to rise to the occasion as emergency personnel counted on them so they could do their jobs. In community after community, Afterschool professionals became our nation’s second responders.

Now is the time to take a moment to refocus and reinvest in YOU. Join us November 17-19th from 8:45am to 1pm central time to begin each day with a dynamic keynote, followed by breakout sessions and a closing cap note that will leave you feeling energized and equipped to serve your community in new and exciting ways.

You will have the opportunity to hear from inspiring leaders, panels and experts in the field across three days of exciting themed content:

• Trauma Informed Care

• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math)

• Equity

In between sessions, you can network with colleagues in the field in our event forum, make connections with valuable partners in our Resource Hall, access on-demand content in our video library and more!
